Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District seeks a Nurse Manager – District Patient Flow to lead our District Patient Flow Unit and drive safe, timely, patient-centred care across facilities. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee patient flow strategy and build partnerships to improve pathways.

You will champion continuous improvement, coordinate demand/capacity planning and influence outcomes across multiple sites in NSW Health.

Qualifications

• Must hold AHPRA RN Division 1 registration and current nursing practice.
• Proven leadership experience with budget accountability and service delivery outcomes.
• Strong understanding of patient flow, capacity planning and complex health systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the District Patient Flow Unit and foster a high-performing team.
• Drive district-wide patient flow and oversee the portal use for timely access.
• Build partnerships across sites, clinical teams and external agencies.
• Lead innovation and continuous improvement for patient-centred care.
