Job summary

Finer Power Transmissions is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Smithfield NSW warehouse. You will supervise a team on the warehouse floor, coordinating picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure orders leave accurately and on time.

This hands-on role involves working closely with Internal Sales on stock availability and deliveries, while upholding WHS standards and inventory accuracy. Report to the National Operations Manager and grow product knowledge in bearings and power

Qualifications

• Experience as a warehouse supervisor, leading hand, or senior storeperson.
• Strong knowledge of picking, packing, receiving and dispatch processes.
• High accuracy in stock control and inventory.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and support the warehouse team.
• Plan and allocate daily picking, packing and dispatch priorities.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
• Receive and check incoming stock and put away to correct locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with cycle counts and stocktakes.

This is a hands-on role. You'll supervise and work alongside the warehouse team receiving, picking, packing and dispatching bearings and power transmission products, while keeping stock accurate and the warehouse safe, organised and efficient.

This is not an office-based position. Most of your day will be spent on the warehouse floor, leading from the front and getting orders out the door accurately and on time. • Work with Internal Sales on stock availability, back orders and delivery timing
• Resolve stock, picking and delivery issues as they arise
• Support Internal Sales with customer calls and order entry when required

About You

We're looking for a practical, organised leader who takes pride in an accurate, tidy and efficient warehouse, and who enjoys being hands-on with the team.

Experience in bearings, mechanical power transmission, industrial supplies, engineering products, tools, automotive parts or a similar trade environment would be highly regarded.

Ideally, you will have:

• Warehouse supervisor, leading hand or senior storeperson experience
• Strong knowledge of picking, packing, receiving and dispatch processes
• A high level of accuracy with stock control and inventory
• Experience with ERP, inventory or warehouse management systems
• Good communication and people-leadership skills
• A strong focus on WHS and safe work practices
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel)
• A current forklift licence

Previous experience with power transmission or industrial products, or NetSuite (ERP), would be advantageous.
