Job summary

SpanSet Australia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor at our Emu Plains facility in New South Wales. This full-time role leads the warehouse team to ensure accurate handling, storage and distribution of goods, while maintaining safety, stock integrity and a well-organised environment.

You will supervise, train and develop staff, oversee inventory and KPI tracking, and drive cost-efficient improvements in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse/logistics/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Valid forklift LF/LO licences and Working at Heights.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to train and develop team members.

• Oversee receipt, storage and dispatch of goods with accuracy.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Emu Plains facility in New South Wales. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to lead our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of logistics and distribution activities. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will supervise a small team to ensure efficient and accurate handling, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment. This role ensures that all products are correctly identified, labelled, and stored and that any stock discrepancies are thoroughly investigated and reported.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, co-ordinate and mentor the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets and quality standards

Monitor and manage inventory levels, stock rotation and warehouse organisation to optimise space utilisation

Oversee the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures

Implement and maintain health and safety protocols across the warehouse environment, conducting regular safety briefings and risk assessments

Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and used safely, including forklifts and other machinery

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, accuracy and safety metrics, reporting to management

Liaise with other departments including manufacturing, technical, quality and purchasing to ensure seamless coordination

Train, develop and support team members, fostering a positive workplace culture

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

What we're looking for

Proven supervisory or team leader experience in a warehouse, logisitics or manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems and best practices

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to warehouse operations

Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and computer systems

Warehouse operation certificate plus mandatory licences - fork lift (LF), order picker (LO), High Reach Forklift TAT and Working at Heights Certificate Forklift

Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods
