Job summary

Pro AV Solutions is seeking an Installation Manager in Sydney to lead onsite project teams, drive installation quality and ensure successful delivery of AV projects across corporate, government, education and defence sectors.

You will mentor Site Technicians and Supervisors, manage practical training, and coordinate resource planning and scheduling while maintaining safety and client satisfaction. 5+ years in AV, electronics certs, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in AV installation or related field.
• Electronics Certificate III or higher, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong AV installation, cabling, fit‑off and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop technical teams.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and provide practical onsite training to develop project teams.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure AV installations meet Pro AV standards.
• Support resource planning, scheduling and allocation across project teams.

Pro AV Solutions has an exciting opportunity available to join our Projects Team as an Installation Manager. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on developing our onsite teams, maintaining installation quality and supporting the successful delivery of AV projects.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Installation Manager will lead the training, development and practical skills enhancement of our onsite project teams, including Site Technicians, Site Leading Hands and Junior Technicians. You will combine hands‑on technical expertise with team development, quality control, resource planning and onsite support to ensure our installations consistently meet Pro AV Solutions' standards and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and provide practical onsite training to develop project teams.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure AV installations meet Pro AV standards.
• Support resource planning, scheduling and allocation across project teams.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• 5+ years’ experience in AV installation or a related field.
• Electronics Certificate III or higher, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong AV installation, cabling, fit‑off and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop technical teams.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Current Construction White Card and valid driver's licence.
