McNab is seeking a Business Development Manager to deepen our Sydney presence within the NSW commercial construction market. You’ll lead local relationship building, identify opportunities, and coordinate with specialists to move projects from prospect to delivery.

Based in Sydney, you’ll grow our group supply businesses, strengthen subcontractor and supplier networks, and develop a NSW-focused BD plan while maintaining strong client relationships and driving commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven business development or sales experience in construction supply or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of the NSW market and procurement practices.
• Track record of generating opportunities and converting to sales or partnerships.
• Understanding of how builders tender and select suppliers.
• Curiosity and commercial judgement to identify opportunities across products and Group businesses.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with follow-through.
• Collaborative approach with specialists to progress opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Grow group supply businesses by identifying opportunities.
• Strengthen subcontractor and supplier relationships.
• Identify broader Group opportunities and generate introductions.
• Develop and deliver a business development plan for NSW.
• Meet regularly with construction leaders and procurement teams.
• Promote products and capabilities of our group supply businesses.
• Generate qualified leads and coordinate proposals.
• Develop subcontractor and supplier connections for tendering.
• Share project leads and market intelligence with leadership.
• Maintain a clear opportunity pipeline and handovers.
