Job summary

McNab is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our Sydney office and delivery teams. You will oversee multiple projects from planning through to delivery, mentor Project Managers and uphold McNab's standards of safety, quality and client satisfaction.

You will leverage local market knowledge to strengthen client relationships, engage with consultants and subcontractors, and help shape future project opportunities while collaborating with the Brisbane team during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as Construction or Operations Manager with a commercial D&C builder overseeing multiple projects from planning through to completion.
• Relationship-led approach with proven project delivery and business growth.
• Strong knowledge of the Sydney industrial construction market with established relationships across clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ability to build on existing relationships, develop new connections and identify repeat business opportunities.
• Practical expertise in construction methodology, programming and subcontractor procurement.
• Proven ability to mentor Project Managers and develop capability and high-performing teams.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including managing budgets and risk, with excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Understanding of WHS, quality assurance and compliance with a visible commitment to safety.

About you
