Job summary

SEIMA is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow our presence across the NSW residential building market. You’ll build relationships with home builders and merchants, securing product selections and driving sales through merchant partners.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you’ll win new business, strengthen existing relationships, and grow sales while maintaining CRM records and a robust territory plan.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in a similar sales or business development role.
• Strong knowledge of the residential building industry and established industry relationships.
• Proven ability to win new business and achieve sales targets.
• Confident communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Initiative, resilience and the organisation to manage your territory effectively.

Responsibilities

• Winning new business with Top 100, medium-sized and low-rise home builders.
• Strengthening existing builder relationships and identifying opportunities to supply more homes.
• Growing sales through merchants supplying the residential building market.
• Securing SEIMA’s presence in builder displays and product selections.
• Developing a clear territory plan and strong sales pipeline.
• Achieving sales and margin targets, with accurate CRM records and reporting.
