Job summary

Nowra-based Flagstaff Group is seeking a Full-time Production and Delivery Assistant for the Laundry division, covering the Shoalhaven region. You will operate laundry equipment, prepare, wash, dry, fold linens, and deliver to client sites while maintaining infection control and quality standards.

A valid driver's license, ability to pass checks (NDIS, WWCC, First-Aid), physical fitness, and capacity to work weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s License and safe driving history.
• Proven experience in production, processing, delivery and pickup.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Commitment to mentoring supported employees.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritise in a multi-demand environment.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS check, WWC & First-Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment to wash, dry and fold linens.
• Collect dirty linen and distribute clean laundry to client locations.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain high cleanliness standards.

The Opportunity

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact? We’re looking for a Full-time - Production and Delivery Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring smooth production and delivery of services across the Shoalhaven region.

At the Flagstaff Laundry division, we operate commercial laundry servicing the hospitality, accommodation, aged care and medical industry. Come be part of a team that supports meaningful employment, skills development, training and education for over 80 people with a disability who help operate the laundry. The role would require you to:

• Be flexible with start times ranging between 6:00am to 8:00am
• Maintain required documentation.
• Efficiently operate industrial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens
• Adhere to strict infection control procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Collecting dirty linen and distributing clean laundry to various client locations in a timely manner
• Engage with customers offsite

The Ideal Candidate would posses:

• A current Driver’s License, and the ability to produce a driving record that demonstrates a safe driving history
• A proven experience working in a field that reflects production, processing, delivery and pick up
• A proven ability to undertake the physical requirements and expectations of the role
• The ability to operate independently, efficiently and professionally with limited supervision
• Capacity to work weekends (Saturday) and Public Holidays as required.
• Compassion and commitment to providing respectful and effective mentorship to our supported employees.
• Demonstrated experience in ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, in an environment with multiple and conflicting demands.
• Or willing to obtain National Police Clearance Check, NDIS check , WWCC & First-Aid certification.
