Estia Health is looking for a reliable and caring Laundry Attendant to join our team at Estia Health Kangaroo Flat on a permanent part-time basis. You will work every Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 6pm, contributing to the comfort and wellbeing of our residents through high-quality laundry services.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and caring Laundry Attendant to join our team at Estia Health Kangaroo Flat on a permanent part-time basis.

You must be available to work each Thursday and Friday 2pm to 6pm ongoing without restrictions. This equates to 8 hours work per week.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our residents’ comfort and wellbeing by delivering high-quality laundry services and maintaining exceptional infection control standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting, sorting, washing, drying and folding resident laundry and linen
• Ensuring all resident clothing is clearly labelled and handled with care
• Maintaining high hygiene, infection control, and safety standards
• Safely handling and transporting soiled and clean linen
• Monitoring linen levels and reporting issues or damaged items
• Completing routine cleaning tasks within the laundry area
• Keeping accurate records of completed tasks and processes
