Job summary

Life Without Barriers in Nowra is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to provide daily living supports to people living with disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals and maintain a high standard of living.

You will work across a 24/7 roster, including nights and sleepovers, delivering support across SIL, lifestyle and day program services while ensuring thorough documentation and client-centred advocacy.

Qualifications

• Casual role with 24/7 roster availability.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Experience in disability support or care is beneficial.

About the role

As a Disability Support Worker in Nowra you will provide daily living supports to people living with disabilities so they can achieve their personal goals and maintain a high standard of living. We have Casual opportunities available, where the successful candidate will need availability to work across a 24/7 roster.

We provide Supported Independent Living (SIL), Lifestyle and Day Program supports in Nowra. The successful candidate will have availability to work active nights and sleepover shifts, as well as shorter 2 to 3 hour shifts.

Skills & Experience

• Ability to connect, enjoy variety, and believe in making every day meaningful
• An unrestricted Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Committed to work flexible hours across the week, including public holidays
• Ability to use technology and software on a mobile and desktop
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
