Job summary

Simplot Company in Bathurst seeks reliable candidates for casual Production Operator roles during the 2026/2027 corn season. You will support production operations, inspect materials, operate equipment, and assist with sanitation, under supervision.

This is a night-shift role with a base rate and overtime opportunities. The position requires a safety-first mindset, ability to work 8-hour night shifts, and willingness to undergo medical/ drug screening.

Qualifications

• Casual role for 2026/2027 Corn Season at Bathurst site.
• Night shift 11:00pm–7:00am, Monday to Friday.
• Base rate of $41.95 per hour plus 30% night loading.
• Experience in vegetable processing or manufacturing is valued.
• Must be available to commence November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and grade incoming raw material.
• Operate fixed plant processing safely.
• Clean and sanitise production lines.
• Adhere to GMP and food safety practices.
• Complete daily shift logs / system entries.
• Operate forklifts (where licensed).
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes.
• Work in a busy manufacturing environment.
