Job summary

Simplot Bathurst is seeking a Production Operator for permanent full-time roles at our modern food manufacturing facility. You will contribute to the canning and freezing lines, support packaging and processing activities, and work a 8.5-hour Monday–Friday roster with weekend overtime where applicable.

The role offers a base hourly rate with 15% afternoon shift loading, opportunities for overtime, and a pathway to professional growth within the Simplot Bathurst site.

Qualifications

Forklift licence and safe operation experience preferred.
Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments is beneficial.
Ability to follow SOPs and maintain records.

Responsibilities

Operate fixed plant food processing machinery and high-speed packaging equipment.
Clean and sanitise production lines and work areas.
Inspect incoming raw materials for defects and replenish consumables.
Adhere to GMP and food safety practices and complete shift logs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform pre-start checks on forklift equipment and assist with forklift duties when required.
