Job summary

Simplot Company in Bathurst, NSW, is hiring casual Production Operators for the 2026/27 corn season. Roles run night shifts, Monday–Friday, 11:00pm–7:00am, with a base rate of AU$41.95 per hour plus 30% night-shift loading and overtime where applicable.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety, health and wellbeing in the workplace.
• Available to work 8-hour night shifts Monday to Friday.
• Able to perform repetitive manual handling tasks.
• Experience in vegetable processing or manufacturing is highly regarded.
• LF forklift licence is desirable or advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect & grade incoming raw material
• Safe operation of fixed plant processing
• Cleaning and sanitising production lines
• Adherence to GMP and food safety practices
• Accurate completion of daily shift logs / system entries
• Forklift operations (if licensed)
• Contribute to continual improvement (CI) processes
