Job summary

Bega Group’s Wetherill Park site in Sydney operates as a Milk Based Beverages hub for the eastern seaboard. We are seeking a reliable DC Operator to safely pick, load and dispatch orders while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role runs overnight on a 6:00 PM–6:20 AM shift across Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in a cool room environment. Join a team dedicated to safety, continuous improvement and great community culture.

Qualifications

• Current LF license with forklift experience (high reach and counterbalance).
• Warehouse, logistics or distribution centre experience.
• WMS experience is highly regarded.
• Safety-focused, reliable and able to work in a cool room environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick, load, and dispatch orders per priorities.
• Operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts and RF scanners.
• Maintain stock accuracy through inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Follow safety, CoR, fatigue management and cold chain requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and positive team culture.

The Role

Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk Based Beverages hub for the eastern seaboard. This state-of-the-art facility produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M.

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused DC Operator to join our Wetherill Park Distribution Centre team. This role is critical to ensuring products are accurately picked, loaded, and dispatched while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Shift details: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday | 6:00 PM - 6:20 AM. Please note that successful candidates must be comfortable working in a cool room environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick, load, and dispatch customer orders in line with operational priorities and procedures.
• Operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts, RF scanners, and work alongside AGV operations.
• Maintain accurate stock control through inventory checks, reconciliations, and reporting discrepancies.
• Follow all safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and cold chain compliance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.

About you

• Current LF license with experience operating high reach & counterbalance forklift
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre environment.
• Willingness to learn, strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly regarded.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
