Job summary

The Wetherill Park Distribution Centre in Sydney, part of the Bega Group, is seeking a reliable DC Operator to ensure accurate picking, loading, and dispatching of dairy products on a night shift. The role requires current LF license, forklift experience, and familiarity with WMS, with duties including safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts are Sunday to Tuesday, 6:00 PM to 6:20 AM, in a cool room setting.

Qualifications

• Current LF license with experience operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre environment.
• Willingness to learn, strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• WMS experience is highly regarded.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick, load, and dispatch customer orders in line with priorities and procedures.
• Operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts, RF scanners, and support AGV operations.
• Maintain accurate stock control through inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Follow safety, CoR, fatigue management and cold chain compliance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.

The Role

Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk Based Beverages hub for the eastern seaboard. This state-of-the-art facility produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M. We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused DC Operator to join our Wetherill Park Distribution Centre team. This role is critical to ensuring products are accurately picked, loaded, and dispatched while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Shift details: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday | 6:00 PM - 6:20 AM. Please note that successful candidates must be comfortable working in a cool room environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock control through inventory checks, reconciliations, and reporting discrepancies.
• Follow all safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and cold chain compliance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.

About you

• Current LF license with experience operating high reach & counterbalance forklift
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre environment.
• Willingness to learn, strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly regarded.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
