Bega Group on the Sapphire Coast of NSW is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for a full-time, permanent role at the Ridge Street site. You will contribute to efficient loading, unloading, stock handling and inventory accuracy in a high‑volume dairy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence with proven operational experience.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards and safe work practices.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures with a high level of attention to detail.
• Competent in using warehouse management systems to support accurate operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and identify incoming goods, verifying delivery documentation for accuracy.
• Operate forklifts safely to move, stack, and store loads in accordance with load height requirements.
• Inspect loads and racking for damage or safety issues, reporting or rejecting non‑conforming items.
• Accurately record load movements in log sheets and inventory systems to maintain stock control and on‑time delivery.
• Comply with all company quality, safety, and operational procedures at all times.

Our Ridge street site in Bega NSW services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renowned Bega cheese blocks- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger cheese slices.
