Job summary

Thompson Health Care in Mittagong NSW is seeking a Night Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. Based at Abbey House, you will deliver safe, person-centred care during night shifts.

You will conduct clinical assessments, manage medications, provide leadership to care staff and ensure policy compliance, with a focus on high-quality resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Essential).
• 2-3 years experience as a Registered Nurse (Essential).
• Demonstrated clinical competence and sound clinical judgement.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care during night shifts.
• Undertake clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident condition.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Night Registered Nurse to join our team on a Part Time basis.

You will be based at our Abbey House, located at 300 Range Rd, Mittagong NSW 2575

Shift Times:

Week 1: 10:15 pm to 6:45 am (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday)

Week 2: 10:15 pm to 6:45 am (Monday, Tuesday and Sunday)

Abbey House is seeking an experienced Night Registered Nurse to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, person‑centred clinical care during night shifts. This includes conducting clinical assessments, managing medications, and providing leadership and support to care staff, while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with best practice standards
• Undertake clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Provide supervision, guidance, and support to care staff
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents

Skills and Experience:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Essential)
• 2-3 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse (Essential)
• Demonstrated clinical competence and sound clinical judgement
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Previous aged care experience (highly desirable)
