Based at 42 Booralie Road, Terrey Hills NSW 2084, you will lead care staff, maintain documentation, and support residents and families through the night shift 10:00pm–7:30am.

About the Role

We are seeking seeking dedicated and compassionate Night Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis!

You will be based at our Terrey Hills Nursing Home located at 42 Booralie Road Terrey Hills NSW 2084.

Night Shift Times: 10:00pm - 07:30 am (Monday to Wednesday)

Terrey Hills Nursing Home is seeking an experienced Night Registered Nurse to provide high level clinical care to meet residents individual care needs that will enhance their quality of life. In this role, you will provide supervision, mentoring, delegation and coordination of care staff, ensuring safe and effective care. You will maintain accurate clinical documentation, meet regulatory requirements, and communicate effectively with residents, families, colleagues, medical practitioners and allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care that meets residents' individual needs
• Provide supervision, mentor, delegate and coordinate of Personal Care Workers and nursing staff
• Conduct resident assessments and contribute to care planning and clinical reviews
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor residents' health status and escalated concerns as appropriate
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, families, medical practitioners and allied health professionals
• Compliance with aged care standards, policies and clinical governance requirements
• Promote a positive, respectful and person-centred care environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality care outcomes within the home

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia (Desirable)
• Strong understanding of contemporary aged care practices and clinical care delivery in a residential setting
• Sound knowledge of aged care standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent written documentation, clinical assessment and communication skills
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
• Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict effectively
• Confidence leading teams and contributing positively to a collaborative workplace
• A commitment to delivering exceptional resident care and customer service
