Job summary

Thompson Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Beecroft-based team on a casual basis. Based at Cheltenham House, you will provide high-level clinical care, document treatments, and collaborate with residents, medical practitioners and families.

You will lead and supervise other nursing staff, demonstrate clinical leadership, and contribute to a harmonious, patient-centered aged care environment with ongoing onsite training and career development.

Qualifications

• Endorsed by APHRA (Essential).
• At least 2 years of RN experience in Australia (desirable).
• Solid understanding of contemporary aged care, clinical practice and leadership.
• Ability to solve problems, negotiate and resolve conflicts.
• Strong communication and leadership to contribute to a team.
• Commitment to customer service and harmonious, trusting environments.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong written documentation and assessment abilities.
• Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
• Provide leadership and supervision of care staff.
• Confident in supervising other nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level clinical care to meet resident needs and document treatments to regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Casual basis.

You will be based at our Cheltenham House, located at 144 Beecroft Road, (Entrance Murray Road) Beecroft NSW 2119.

Various shifts are available, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.

Cheltenham House is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high level clinical care to meet resident’s individual care needs that will help enhance their quality of life. This includes ensuring that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements, communicating effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives as well as providing leadership and supervision to other nursing staff. This position will suit RNs who are flexible and passionate about aged care.

Skills and Experience:

Endorsed by APHRA (Essential).

At least 2 Years experience as a RN in Australia (desirable).

A good understanding of contemporary aged care, clinical practice and clinical leadership in a residential setting.

Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.

Great communicate skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team.
