Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort in Queensland is seeking a confident Night Manager for a part-time role, approximately 4–5 overnight shifts per week. You will lead overnight hotel operations, ensuring smooth running, exceptional guest service and safety standards.

The role requires prior Night Manager or senior Front Office experience, a valid driver’s licence, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager or senior Front Office leadership.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to the resort for overnight shifts.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability with attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and ability to make independent decisions.
• Calm, solutions-focused approach for high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
• Proven ability to lead independently and own hotel operations.
• Experience with Opera Cloud or similar hotel management systems will be highly regarded.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and confident Night Manager to join our team in a part-time capacity, working approximately 4–5 overnight shifts per week. As the senior leader on shift, you will take ownership of hotel operations overnight, ensuring the smooth running of the property while maintaining exceptional guest service, operational control and safety standards.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
