Job summary

EVT is seeking a Night Auditor to balance the books, welcome late arrivals, and ensure guests wake up to a seamless morning across its hotel network. You will manage check-ins/outs, process daily revenue, and resolve discrepancies to keep financials accurate while delivering calm, professional service.

The role emphasizes meticulous cash handling, cross‑department coordination, and a proactive, customer‑macing approach to support a smooth night shift and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Front Office hotel role with a focus on guest service.
• Strong understanding of front desk procedures including check-in/out and reservations.
• Proven ability to process financial transactions accurately and reconcile accounts.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems and night audit functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and teams.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently check guests in and out, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel procedures.
• Process daily guest transactions and reconcile accounts, including posting all accommodation, food, beverage, and miscellaneous revenue.
• Complete the night audit process thoroughly, identifying and resolving discrepancies between revenue and payments.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with tact and care.
• Maintain clear communication with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all cashiering, accounting, and audit policies, maintaining accurate documentation to support financial integrity.
