Job summary

Adina Vibe Darwin Waterfront, part of the TFE Hotels Group, seeks a reliable Night Auditor to balance guest service with financial accuracy through the night. You’ll handle arrivals, departures, and overnight transactions in a dynamic, waterfront hotel setting.

You’ll work independently during nighttime hours, ensuring secure, smooth operations and seamless handovers to the morning team, while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• Front Office or Night Audit experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with end-of-day reconciliations or audit processes preferred.
• Numerical accuracy and analytical mindset are essential.
• Ability to work independently during overnight operations.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
• Experience with hotel PMS and Night Audit procedures is advantageous.
• Willingness to work overnights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional overnight guest service in a safe, welcoming environment.
• Complete overnight arrivals/departures and handle enquiries.
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation and night audit procedures accurately.
• Prepare daily operational and financial reports for leadership.
• Monitor security and respond to overnight incidents.

We're currently seeking a welcoming, reliable and detail-oriented hospitality professional to join our Front Office team as a Full Time Night Auditor.

About the Role

You'll help ensure our hotel operates seamlessly through the night by balancing exceptional guest service with operational accuracy. Supporting overnight arrivals, departures and daily financial processes, you'll help create a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment. Your attention to detail, sound judgement and calm approach will provide a smooth transition between each day while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.

As the face of the hotel overnight, you'll play an important role in delivering memorable guest experiences while ensuring financial and operational processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver exceptional overnight guest service while maintaining a safe and welcoming hotel environment.

• Complete guest arrivals, departures and overnight enquiries professionally and efficiently.

• Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation and night audit procedures accurately.

• Prepare daily operational and financial reports for hotel leadership.

• Monitor hotel security and respond appropriately to overnight incidents or emergencies.

• Maintain accurate guest records and process overnight transactions.

• Liaise effectively with the incoming morning team to ensure a smooth operational handover.

• Follow company policies, security procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, hospitality or customer service roles.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience performing end-of-day financial reconciliations or audit processes preferred.

• Strong numerical accuracy and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently during overnight operations while managing guest requests and operational priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational capability.

• Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Night Audit procedures is advantageous.

• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Tourism or Business is advantageous.

• Experience or training in hotel Night Audit procedures, financial reconciliation or Front Office operations is preferred.

• Experience using Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred.

• Current RSA certification where required.
