Job summary

Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough, part of the TFE Hotels group, is seeking a welcoming, dependable hospitality professional to join our Front Office team as a Part Time Night Auditor. You will balance guest service with nightly financial processes and help maintain a safe, well-managed night environment.

Working overnight, you’ll be the trusted face of the hotel while supporting both guests and night operations.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office or Night Audit experience preferred.
• Experience with end-of-day reconciliation or audit processes preferred.
• Strong numerical accuracy and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver overnight guest service while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Complete guest arrivals, departures and overnight enquiries.
• Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation and Night Audit procedures.
• Prepare daily operational and financial reports for hotel leadership.
• Monitor hotel security and respond to overnight incidents or emergencies.
• Liaise with the incoming morning team for a smooth handover.

We're currently seeking a welcoming, dependable and detail-oriented hospitality professional to join our Front Office team as a Part Time Night Auditor.

About the Role

You'll help ensure our hotel operates seamlessly through the night by balancing exceptional guest service with operational accuracy. Supporting overnight arrivals, departures and daily financial processes, you'll help create a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment. Your attention to detail, sound judgement and calm approach will provide a smooth transition between each day while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional overnight guest service while maintaining a safe and welcoming hotel environment.
• Complete guest arrivals, departures and overnight enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation and Night Audit procedures accurately.
• Prepare daily operational and financial reports for hotel leadership.
• Monitor hotel security and respond appropriately to overnight incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate guest records and process overnight transactions.
• Liaise effectively with the incoming morning team to ensure a smooth operational handover.
• Follow company policies, security procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

• You're calm under pressure, highly organised and enjoy working autonomously.
• You love helping people, have a keen eye for detail and understand that great guest experiences don't stop when the sun goes down.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, hospitality or customer service roles preferred.
• Experience performing end-of-day financial reconciliation or audit processes preferred.
• Strong numerical accuracy and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing guest requests and operational priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational capability.
• Experience using Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is advantageous.
• Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Tourism or Business is advantageous.
• Experience or training in hotel Night Audit procedures, financial reconciliation or Front Office operations is preferred.
• Experience using Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred.
• Current RSA certification where required.
