Job summary

Accor in Melbourne seeks a Night Auditor to perform end-of-day accounting and assist guests with late-night inquiries, staying composed while the night team leads the workflow. You will manage night audit duties, monitor security, support the day team, and ensure guest confidentiality, key issuance, and secure handling of payments and transactions.

The role requires a flexible, independent worker who can handle guest requests with professionalism across shifts, including weekends and public

Qualifications

• Independent worker who can take initiative without constant supervision
• Prior Night Audit or accounts experience beneficial
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• High level of computer literacy
• Reliable, well-groomed with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Take charge of reception desk duties and the night audit process to ensure reports are accurate
• Collaborate with security to monitor building safety and security systems
• Assist the day team to ensure a seamless guest experience across day and night
• Work rotating night shifts from 11pm to 7am
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of room keys, credit cards, and related procedures
• Handle guest complaints positively and escalate when required
