Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking a Network System Administrator to maintain secure, reliable ICT infrastructure across the organisation. You will manage networks, servers, storage, Microsoft 365, identity services, firewalls and backup solutions.

You will also support monitoring, patching, automation and cyber security best practices to ensure a resilient platform for staff and the community, with opportunities for career development and flexible work arrangements.

Formación

• Tertiary qualifications in information technology, networking or system administration, or substantial relevant experience in enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Experience administering network infrastructure including switches, routers, VLANs, wireless networking, firewalls, secure remote access and network monitoring.
• Experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services and virtualization platforms.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID and cloud identities.
• Experience applying change-management practices including planning, testing, risk assessment, rollback, documentation and patching.
• Experience administering backup and recovery platforms and conducting restore testing.
• Experience using PowerShell or automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and prioritisation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, monitor and maintain Council's physical, virtual and cloud environments.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex ICT issues.
• Implement upgrades, patches and disaster recovery processes.
• Contribute to security improvements and automation across the ICT estate.
