Job summary

Community Solutions Apprenticeship and Traineeship Vacancies – Mackay QLD seeks an NDIS Support Coordinator to help participants achieve greater independence by assessing needs and coordinating supports. You will work with participants to maximise NDIS plans and address barriers with action plans.

You will build relationships with participants and families, negotiate with providers, and manage billing targets while maintaining strong administration and IT skills, especially Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience with NDIS plans/budgets and ability to interpret facets of NDIS funding.
• Experience with billing targets and case noting.
• Strong administration skills and IT capability including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with participants, families and providers.
• Drive to visit participants as required and coordinate supports.
• Assist participants in negotiating with providers on what is offered and NDIS budget allocation.
• Work with billable hours and targets and ensure service agreements are completed.
• Take a holistic approach to capacity building and addressing barriers for participants.
