Job summary

SVSM CARE PTY LTD in Cairns is seeking a Group Operations & Business Development Manager to lead the launch and growth of our NDIS provider business and youth services. You will build a referral network, recruit and train staff, and implement compliance systems across services.

The role requires NDIS experience, strong operations leadership, and a track record in business development. Part-time flexibility is offered with opportunities to scale operations and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in NDIS operations or provider development.
• Strong understanding of NDIS compliance and quality systems.
• Experience in youth residential care or related services.
• Proven business development, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding, supervising and training staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to report to the Director and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an NDIS business launch and growth strategy.
• Build relationships with support coordinators, health providers, and referral sources.
• Generate enquiries, coordinate intake and service commencement.
• Identify opportunities within approved NDIS scope.
• Establish participant documentation, service agreements, and reporting systems.
• Monitor activity and report progress to the Director.
• Improve operational processes and staff communication.
• Coordinate staff inductions, training and competency assessments.
