Job summary

Kaizen Support Services Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to drive growth within the NDIS sector. The role focuses on relationship-building, referral development, and converting opportunities aligned with Kaizen’s values.

You will operate with autonomy, leveraging an existing network in disability, health, or allied sectors to generate leads and secure new business.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development or stakeholder engagement in the NDIS or disability sector.
Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and participant journey.
Established professional networks in disability and community services.
Ability to work independently using your network to generate opportunities.
Current ABN and ability to invoice for services; valid Australian driver’s license and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in the NDIS sector.
Develop referral pathways with support coordinators, plan managers, allied health professionals, and community organisations.
Promote Kaizen Supports’ services in a professional and ethical manner.
Attend networking events, expos, forums, and stakeholder meetings where appropriate.
Maintain accurate records of leads, referrals, conversions, and business development activity.
Work collaboratively with Kaizen Supports leadership regarding service suitability, intake capacity, and strategic growth priorities.
Ensure all representations about services, supports, and pricing are accurate and consistent with NDIS requirements.
