Resolute Support, a Hunter-based community services provider, is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive growth in NDIS and disability services. You will turn market insight into sustainable partnerships with participants, families, referrers and organisations.
In this role, you will develop strategies, expand referral networks, identify new programs, and work with leadership to shape growth. NSW-based, with strong regional connections and a focus on outcomes.
Resolute Support is an established community services provider supporting more than 300 people across Newcastle, Maitland and Lake Macquarie, backed by a team of approximately 200 employees.
We provide a broad range of supports including community participation, transport, recreation, personal care, domestic assistance and supported accommodation.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can turn relationships, market insight and opportunity into sustainable business growth.
This is more than a traditional sales role. You will play an important part in shaping the future growth of Resolute Support, identifying opportunities, strengthening our presence across the Hunter and building meaningful partnerships with participants, families, support coordinators, referrers, community organisations and other key stakeholders.

The OpportunityThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that generate new business, strengthen referral pathways and support the sustainable expansion of Resolute Support's services.
You will have the opportunity to influence our growth strategy, identify emerging opportunities and develop relationships that result in genuine outcomes for both the organisation and the people we support.
What you'll be responsible forDevelop and implement business development strategies aligned with organisational growth objectives.
Identify and convert new participant, referral and partnership opportunities.
Build strong referral networks and relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to expand existing services and introduce new programs or service offerings.
Develop partnerships with local businesses, community organisations and other service providers.
Research market trends, competitor activity, government initiatives, grants and emerging opportunities within the disability and community services sectors.
Maintain a strong understanding of the NDIS marketplace and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
Represent Resolute Support at networking events, industry forums and community engagement activities.
Establish and monitor business development pipelines, targets and KPIs.
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership regarding business development activity, opportunities and market trends.
Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure growth opportunities can be delivered successfully and sustainably.
You are a commercially minded relationship builder who knows that successful business development is about much more than making connections. You know how to turn those connections into trusted partnerships and measurable results.
Ideally, you will bring:
5+ years' experience in business development, sales, partnerships or marketing, preferably within the NDIS, disability, health or community services sectors.
Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving growth targets.
A strong understanding of the NDIS and disability services market, including referral pathways, funding arrangements and the broader sector environment.
An established professional network within the Hunter or surrounding regions would be highly regarded.
Exceptional relationship-building, networking and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong negotiation, presentation and communication capabilities.
The ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies to convert them into sustainable business.
A proactive, accountable and results-focused approach.
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance growth opportunities with quality service delivery.
The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with senior leaders and operational teams.
