Job summary

Velocity Truck Centres seeks an experienced Service Operations Manager to shape the future of Service across Australia's largest Daimler Truck dealership network. You will lead national improvement initiatives, establish operational standards and partner with regional leaders to improve performance and efficiency.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Current driver licence and willingness to travel nationally

Velocity Truck Centres is seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to help shape the future of Service across Australia's largest Daimler Truck dealership network. Reporting to the Vice President Aftersales, you will lead national service improvement initiatives, establish practical operating standards and partner with regional and branch leaders to improve performance, customer outcomes and efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Senior leadership experience in service operations, aftersales, automotive, transport, heavy vehicle, industrial or equipment-related environments.
• Experience leading multi-site operations or supporting a geographically dispersed network.
• Strong understanding of workshop operations, productivity, WIP management and service profitability.
• Proven ability to lead change and deliver measurable operational improvements.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence interpreting operational and financial data.
• A hands-on collaborative style, and a track record of developing capable, accountable teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A current driver licence and willingness to travel nationally.
