Job summary

Velocity Truck Centres Australia is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to take overall responsibility for the Milperra dealership’s performance across Service, Parts, customer experience, safety and commercial outcomes. This hands-on leader will shape culture, develop capability and drive collaboration with the branch leadership team.

You will lead by example, build a supportive environment, and deliver financial, operational and customer excellence while fostering teamwork and accountability

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in automotive/heavy vehicle operations.
• Demonstrated people-first leadership with coaching and development.
• Strong focus on workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Solid understanding of Service and Parts operations and their commercial impact.
• Experience managing budgets, profitability and branch performance.
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management abilities.

About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Branch Manager to take overall responsibility for the performance of the dealership, including Service, Parts, customer experience, safety and commercial outcomes.

This is a visible, hands-on leadership role for someone who leads by example and creates an environment where employees feel supported, valued and accountable. You will work closely with the branch leadership team to build capability, strengthen collaboration and maintain safe, efficient and customer-focused operations.

• Proven leadership experience within automotive, heavy vehicle, transport, industrial or service-related operations.
• A genuine people-first leadership style, with a track record of coaching leaders and developing team capability.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
• Sound understanding of Service and Parts operations and the commercial drivers of a dealership or similar business.
• Experience managing operational performance, budgets and commercial outcomes.
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• An improvement mindset and the ability to bring people with you through change.
• Heavy or commercial vehicle industry experience will be highly regarded.
