Job summary

Team Medical is seeking a hands-on National Sales Manager to lead and coach our field sales team across Australia. The role involves developing the national sales strategy, supporting Business Development and Account Managers, and improving processes and tools to drive revenue and growth.

You will refine sales processes, deliver clear reporting, and ensure cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Procurement to keep everyone aligned behind sales success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in B2B sales and/or sales operations, including leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading field-based teams to high performance.
• Strong Salesforce skills, including dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a distributed team of BDMs and Account Managers across multiple territories.
• Set and execute national sales strategy, targets, KPIs and incentive programs.
• Refine core sales processes, from lead management to account reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and drive improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Deliver reporting and forecasting on performance, pipeline and quota attainment with Finance on budgets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Procurement for sales alignment.

We’re looking for a hands‑on National Sales Manager to lead, coach and support the continued strong performance of our field sales team. This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

The role

This is a leadership role with real impact. In collaboration with the Leadership team you will develop the national sales strategy, then roll up your sleeves to help our Business Development and Account Managers succeed in their territories. You’ll sharpen our sales processes, build tools and training that actually get used, and bring a continuous‑improvement mindset to everything the team does.

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach and develop a distributed team of BDMs and Account Managers across multiple territories
• Set and execute national sales strategy, targets, KPIs and incentive programs aligned to revenue, margin and growth goals
• Refine core sales processes, from lead management and opportunity stages to quoting and account reviews
• Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and lead improvements that make life easier for reps and customers, ensuring cross functional collaboration at all times
• Deliver clear reporting and forecasting on performance, pipeline and quota attainment, and partner with Finance on commissions and budgeting
• Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Procurement to keep everyone aligned behind sales success

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years in B2B sales and/or sales operations, including 2+ years in a national leadership or enablement role
• A proven track record leading field-based teams to high performance
• Strong Salesforce skills, including building dashboards and reports and helping others get the most from it
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, and a collaborative approach across teams
• Healthcare or medical distribution experience is a big plus
