Job summary

Cable Handling Services (CHS), part of the ACE Group, seeks a Business Development Manager to drive national growth across Australia. You will build long-term customer partnerships with mine operators, OEMs, EPC contractors and engineering teams, delivering engineered cable handling solutions to enhance safety and uptime.

Reporting to the CRO, you will develop BD plans, manage key accounts, and guide opportunities from qualification through proposals, with travel across NSW, Queensland and WA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' Business Development experience within the Australian mining industry.
• Experience selling technical products, capital equipment or engineered solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Current Australian driver's license and willingness to travel nationally.
• Knowledge of mining equipment or cable handling solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans across key mining accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify opportunities for CHS cable handling systems and engineered safety solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to identify risks and practical improvements.
• Assist with quotations, tenders and technical proposals.
• Influence project specifications during equipment upgrades and new mining projects.
• Represent CHS at customer meetings, mining conferences and industry events.
• Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
• Achieve sales growth and customer acquisition targets.
