Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking an experienced National Business Manager to lead a major Coles portfolio, delivering growth, profitability and category expansion. You will drive strategic plans, manage a large P&L and build high-level relationships with senior Coles stakeholders.

You will use data to shape insights, forecast accurately, and coordinate with Marketing, Demand Planning, and Distribution teams to execute initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a National Business Manager or National Account Manager role.
• Strong national grocery experience, with exposure to Coles, Woolworths or independent networks.
• Experience developing and executing customer and category growth strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen including P&L, budgeting, forecasting and trade-spend management.
• Excellent relationship management, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with scan and market data such as Circana, Nielsen or similar tools.
• Proactive, resilient and adaptable with a strong drive to succeed.
• Leadership experience and GAP or equivalent negotiation program is advantageous.
• Willingness to use AI tools to improve processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of strategic category and joint business plans with Coles.
• Manage portfolio P&L, balancing volume, profitability and trade investment to hit targets.
• Build strong relationships with Coles Category Managers, Buyers and planning teams.
• Identify opportunities to expand the dairy cheese portfolio into new categories and products.
• Interpret market and category data to identify trends and insights.
• Manage forecast accuracy across Saputo brands and private labels.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and product activity.
• Project manage customer-specific new product development and changes.
• Support private label tenders, range reviews and other key projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams across Category, Marketing, Demand Planning and Distribution.
