Job summary

Rexel Australia seeks an experienced Customer Care Officer to support a portfolio of national accounts from Moorabbin. This role coordinates orders, quotes, deliveries and product inquiries across Rexel branches nationwide, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate outcomes.

You will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced electrical wholesale environment, building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and account managers to drive customer growth

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wholesale, trade distribution or similar.
• Proven ability to communicate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience in customer care, internal sales, or account support.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across a large branch network.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to issues.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to national customer accounts.
• Coordinate orders, quotations, deliveries and product enquiries.
• Liaise with Rexel branches, National Key Account Managers and suppliers.
• Build relationships to obtain pricing, availability and lead times.
• Follow up on orders, backorders and delivery issues.
• Support warm sales conversations and identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintain accurate customer/order records in internal systems.
• Prepare reports and customer information using Excel/PowerPoint.
• Use initiative to resolve issues and improve processes.
