Job summary

NSW Government is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator for an immediate start on a contract through to 27 February 2027. The role is based in Sydney CBD with hybrid arrangements. You will coordinate projects, prepare reports, and engage with diverse stakeholders to support policy delivery.

Two years of government project coordination experience and relevant tertiary qualifications are required. Strong knowledge of the contemporary music industry is valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar Project Coordinator role within the government sector.
• Strong knowledge of and experience in the contemporary music industry.
• Proven experience engaging with diverse stakeholders across industry, government and community sectors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects to deliver agency outcomes within agreed scope.
• Prepare, review and track reports, briefs, governance papers and presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, providing relevant advice and information.
• Manage project administration and documentation to support transparency and effective policy delivery.
• Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of agency programs and initiatives.
• Provide project advice, identify risks and support effective outcomes.
