The University of Sydney’s Chau Chak Wing Museum is seeking a Collections Officer for a part-time, continuing role. You will lead documentation, manage inward and outward loans nationally and internationally, and administer acquisitions including Cultural Gifts, ensuring records are accurate, compliant and accessible.

You will work within the Collections team to support collection care, exhibitions, storage, packing, transport, and location control, while contributing to policies and governance

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience managing museum/gallery collections databases; EMu proficiency and data management.
• Well-developed analytical and problem‑solving skills to improve systems and workflows.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience overseeing registration, movement, packing, storage and location control of objects.

• Lead documentation of collections and manage complex inward/outward loans nationally and internationally.
