Chau Chak Wing Museum seeks a Senior Museum Registration Officer – Acquisitions and Loans to manage inward/outward loans and acquisitions documentation. The role encompasses care, movement, storage, and location control of objects, with emphasis on EMu data quality and governance.

You will lead collections documentation, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to policies to ensure compliance, safety, and accessibility of the collection.

• Extensive experience managing museum or gallery collections databases.
• Advanced proficiency in EMu and data management processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate complex projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the documentation and management of inward and outward loans nationally and internationally.
• Oversee registrations, movement, packing, storage, and location control of museum objects.
• Contribute to acquisitions administration including Cultural Gifts and related procedures.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and documentation practices for collections governance.
