Job summary

Australian Laboratory Services Pty Ltd (ALS) is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT team in Malaga. This full-time role focuses on maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, resolving issues, and delivering customer-focused IT support to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years' hands-on IT support experience.
Experience supporting IT in a multi-site commercial environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server and desktop environments.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

Acting as the primary point of contact for IT support, logging and managing tickets through the helpdesk.
Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating them when required.
Monitoring system outages and following incident management and communication protocols.
Prioritising and managing incidents to minimise backlogs and business disruption.
Deploying, maintaining and supporting end-user devices including laptops, mobile phones and printers.
Administering Active Directory, user accounts and access permissions.
Supporting on-site infrastructure including servers, networks, AV equipment and conferencing tools.
Managing IT assets, software licences and lifecycle processes.
Maintaining backups, updates and system performance across IT environments.
Contributing to IT projects, system improvements and process enhancements.
