Job summary

The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Officer to support the upkeep and day-to-day operations across Sydney sites.

The role reports to the Facilities Team Leader and blends hands-on maintenance with coordination and admin duties to keep our facilities safe and welcoming. You will perform site inspections, coordinate contractors, maintain records and assist with minor improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or handyman services.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks through to completion.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, volunteers and contractors.
• Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and safe maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general building maintenance, minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Conduct routine site inspections and identify maintenance, safety and operational needs.
• Coordinate maintenance works with contractors and external service providers.
• Maintain accurate facilities records, including work orders and asset information.
• Assist with facilities administration: quotes, bookings and follow-ups on works.
• Support events setup and logistics for the organisation across multiple sites.
