Job summary

SeaLink South East Queensland is seeking an Administration & Operations Coordinator – Cafes to support Cleveland Shore Cafe and onboard vessel cafes. The role blends operational coordination, admin tasks, and compliance across multiple sites.

You’ll oversee documentation accuracy, roster coordination, and ensure safety, service standards and reporting. Shifts start from 6:00am in a 365-day roster, with opportunities for growth in a large ASX-listed tourism and transport group.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an operational, coordination or supervisory role (hospitality or service environments advantageous).
• Experience with stock control, POS, cash handling and shift coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations across shorebased and vessel cafes.
• Support multi-venue shifts and provide real-time operational problem solving.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures, logs and cleaning schedules are completed.
• Monitor presentation standards across venues and support customer experience.
• Handle Tier 2 escalated issues and assist roster planning.
• Review timesheets and payroll inputs and maintain documentation.
