Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multifamily communities in New South Wales, Berry. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and pool maintenance while delivering exceptional resident service and keeping curb appeal high.

You will work on-site, be on-call for emergencies, and collaborate with team members, vendors, and supervisory staff to maintain safety and quality standards across properties.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Hands-on maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call for emergencies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, internet, email).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality maintenance service and exceptional customer service.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing issues.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-control by repairing parts and conserving materials.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA-related training; report issues promptly.
• Conduct property inspections and communicate needs to management.
• Track inventory and coordinate re-orders with maintenance supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and other regulations.
