Job summary

Accor Apartments & Realty is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep hotel-like properties in top condition. The role involves hands-on maintenance across rooms, amenities, and communal spaces, with a focus on preventive tasks and responsive fixes.

You will work closely with a diverse team, but also independently on assigned projects, using general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills. Weekend and holiday availability is required for maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable in a physical maintenance role with a proactive attitude.
• Hands-on skills in general building maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical) with no formal qualification required.
• Strong problem solving and clear communication with staff and guests onsite.
• Available to work weekends and public holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all rooms, amenities and communal spaces in excellent condition.
• Collaborate with a diverse team and work independently when needed.
• Tackle challenging maintenance tasks with innovative solutions.
• Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance projects as required.
