Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold property standards and resident satisfaction. The role emphasizes on-going maintenance, repairs, and preventative work to ensure a well-maintained community.

The position requires hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and equipment, with on-call availability and a focus on safety, cost control, and community partnerships. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call to address emergencies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn and develop skills.
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Basic computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, internet, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction and deliver high-quality maintenance service.
• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes including pre-move-out inspection and punch list.
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance and cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible; monitor inventory.
• Report safety and risk issues and participate in safety meetings and trainings.
