Story Fresh in Cambooya head office is seeking a full-time Payroll Officer to manage payroll processing for multiple entities and support HR activities. The role is within a fast-paced family farming business and offers an excellent team environment.

Key duties include payroll processing with Deputy, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks, ensuring IR compliance, maintaining HR registers, and handling routine administrative tasks with accuracy and discretion.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in payroll functions and IR requirements.
• Familiar with Deputy, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks payroll software.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment while handling multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interactions with internal and external parties.
• Excellent organisational skills and high accuracy in data entry.
• Strong time management to meet daily deadlines and priorities.
• Reliability, own transport and full Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing for multiple entities within Story Fresh Group.
• Generate payrolls using Deputy, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.
• Monitor irregularities and ensure full compliance with IR requirements.
• Maintain HR registers including visa verification, contracts, IFA's and entitlements.
• Reconcile HR charges under PALM program.
• Handle other general administrative duties as required.
