Job summary

Bentley Recruitment is recruiting an assistant accountant based in Brisbane CBD for a payroll-focused role reporting to the Finance Manager.

The position offers a pathway for progression, with responsibilities spanning end-to-end payroll for 100 staff weekly, as well as AR, AP and month-end reconciliations.

Qualifications

• For payroll, experience with entitlements, legislation and super is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and contribute positively to culture.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Experience with Employment Hero and Xero is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Payroll (end to end) for 100 staff weekly, including entitlements, legislation, novated leases and super.
• Accounts Receivable management.
• Accounts Payable processing.
• End of Month activities: balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accrual journals.
