Job summary

Jet Group is seeking a Payroll Officer for a part-time role in Mackay. You will be responsible for processing payroll, interpreting Awards, handling leave requests and ensuring statutory compliance including PayDay Super and PAYG Withholding. The role also supports month-end reporting and other finance tasks as needed.

The position offers 20-24 hours per week with negotiable days, and the company supports diversity in the workplace as an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll.
• Interpret Awards as required.
• Process leave applications.
• Statutory compliance, PayDay Super and PAYG Withholding.
• Provide finance support for end of month financial reporting as required.
• Provide support for other areas of the business as required.
