Job summary

Programmed Energy & Resources is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Operators to join a major coal mining operation in the Blackwater region. This is a DIDO opportunity with a consistent 7 on / 7 off roster and camp accommodation provided.

You’ll operate a range of heavy mining equipment, including mechanical and electric haul trucks; dozers, graders and loaders are advantageous. A strong safety mindset and ability to work in a production team are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating mechanical and electric haul trucks.
• Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface).
• Current Queensland Coal Board Medical.
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence.
• Signed SSE transcripts for relevant machines.
• Strong commitment to safety and site procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mining equipment in a busy production environment.
• Work 12.5 hour shifts on a 7 on / 7 off DIDO roster with day/night rotation.
• Maintain safety and site procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with the site team to meet production targets.

About the Role

You’ll be working within a busy production environment operating a range of heavy mining equipment, including:

• Mechanical and Electric haul Truck experience - Mandatory
• Dozers, Graders, Loaders - Advantageous

Experience across additional mining equipment will also be highly regarded.

This is a DIDO opportunity in the Blackwater region, working a 7 on / 7 off roster rotating between day and night shifts. 12.5 hour shifts x6 with your last day onsite being a 9hr shift to allow for early travel home.
