Job summary

WorkPac is hiring a Multi Skilled Operator for Coppabella Mine in Queensland. You will operate CAT 793 dump trucks, various dozers, graders and loaders on a 12.5-hour straight 7/7 roster, with residential, DIDO or BIBO options.

We’re seeking applicants with prior mine experience and a valid Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, as well as a current driver’s license and the right to work in Australia. Drug and alcohol screening is required.

Qualifications

• Mining experience as a Multi Skilled Operator on dump trucks, dozers, graders or loaders.
• Must hold Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical or be willing to obtain.
• Current driver’s license and right to work in Australia.
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 793 / KOM 930e dump trucks, 16m/24m graders, D10/D11 dozers, and loaders 993/994.
• Work 12.5-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day and night roster.
• Residential, DIDO or BIBO options available.

Our Client is a leading coal producer, providing essential products for the production of affordable, reliable energy and steel. Coppabella Mine is located only 140km southwest of Mackay and is a Surface Mine utilizing a Dragline, Dozer and Truck and Shovel method

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will become a part of a busy mine as a Multi Skilled Operator. You will be required to operate a variety of machinery such as CAT 793 / KOM 930e dump trucks, 16m/24m graders, D10/D11 dozers and/or 993/994 loaders. You will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day and night roster. These roles and are available for residential, DIDO or BIBO candidates.

What You Will Need

• Previous mine experience as an Multi Skilled Operator operating dump trucks, dozers, graders and/or loaders providing an SSE signed skills list
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or be willing to attain this
• Current Driver’s License & right to work in Australia
• The ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
