Job summary

WorkPac is recruiting on behalf of Glencore’s Hail Creek Mine in Queensland for a Multi Skilled Operator role. You will operate large rear dump trucks and support equipment in an open-cut coal environment, with a 7 days on/off roster, dayshift only, 12-hour shifts and an on-site camp with meals and amenities.

This is a great opportunity to work with a global mining operator through WorkPac and contribute to safe production in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Operator within mining.
• Current Standard 11 or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate Large Rear Dump Trucks plus Dozer/Loader/Grader in open cut coal environment.
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic machine care.
• Work safely in accordance with site procedures and standards.
• Contribute to production targets within a team.

About Our Client

Glencore is one of the world’s largest mining and resource companies, operating sites across Queensland and Australia. Hail Creek Mine is a well‑established open cut coal operation known for strong safety, productivity, and quality on‑site facilities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating Large Rear Dump Trucks + either Dozer, Loader or Graders in an open cut coal environment
• Conducting pre-start checks and basic machine care
• Working safely in accordance with site procedures and standards
• Contributing to production targets within a team environment

What You Will Need

• Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Operator within mining
• Valid signed Training Transcript
• Current Standard 11 or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
